New Mexico is strategically positioned to be an R&D&A gateway for the Iberoamerican S&T community. It is serviced by the Albuquerque International Sunport Airport which offers several flights daily to major hub cities like Houston and Phoenix that service the Iberoamerican marketplace. Four Federal Research Laboratories, three growing research Universities, three developing research parks, and several research institutes located in New Mexico facilitate the development and commercialization of emerging technologies.
